This is an Atlas with mostly uncommented maps of the most important geographical indicators.
The Data are taken from the publication: Fischer Welt Almanach 2019 (Data on cd) and the HDR (Human Development Report) 2019.
The maps have been designed for a publication in German. Most captions are still in German, but that shouldn’t be a problem, they are easy to figure out, and if you really don’t manage there is google translator or other helpful tools on the internet.
The maps don’t show all geographical details. This is due to the purpose of the maps: to give the “big picture”. Irrelevant details are therefore deliberately omitted, like very small countries or islands (for instance Liechtenstein, Holy See, Bahamas and so on)
